Introduction

This post is not a lesson per se. It is rather a post that can help you review what you have learned so far. This post is about the regular and irregular plural noun quizzes and guided practice. I hope you will find value in this post, and as I always say: practice makes perfect!

Guided Practice 1

Write the plural of the noun to complete each sentence. (  Please state whether it is regular or irregular, and what rule you followed to give the right answer.)

  • Two   (child)  walk in the woods.
  • They hop over some (patch)  of mud.
  • Do you see those (track) in the dirt?
  • The baby has four (tooth).

Guided Practice 2

Write the plural of the noun to complete each sentence.

( Please state whether it is regular or irregular, and what rule you followed to give the right answer.)

  • She made jam with a handful of (blueberry) and sugar.
  • I bought some (avocado), do you like to have one?
  • Next year, my son will study (civics).
  • Five little (monkey) jumping on the bed,

    One fell down and bumped his/her head,

    Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,

    “No more (monkey) jumping on the bed!”
