Some nouns are used only as a singular
- This category of nouns includes irregular words that have no plural forms. We use them only as singular even if the context or the meaning conveyed seems to be plural.
- No need to add suffixes such as -s or -es at the end of the root word in these examples:
Luggage, Furniture, Information,
Poetry, Machinery, Advice, etc.

- The apartment was cluttered with lots of furniture.
