- Examples include dog, building, coffee, tree, rain, beach.
4.Abstract noun
- The word ‘abstract ‘refers to something that exists in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence.
- Hence, an abstract noun is a noun that refers to ideas, qualities, and conditions – things that cannot be seen or touched, and things that have no physical reality.
e.g. love, truth, danger, happiness, time, friendship, humor.
