5.Countable Nouns and Uncountable Nouns
In English, one feature that modifies nouns is that they can be either countable or uncountable.
A.countable nouns:
Countable nouns (or count nouns) are those that refer to something that can be counted. e.g. dog, pen…)
I have three pens, but my brother has only one blue pen.
B.uncountable nouns :
Uncountable nouns (or mass nouns) do not typically refer to things that can be counted; therefore, they do not regularly have a plural form.
- music, art, love, happiness.
- advice, information, news.
- furniture, luggage.
- rice, sugar, butter, water.
- electricity, gas, power.
- money, currency.
