If a noun ends in

“f” or “fe

you need to replace the ‘f’ or fewith “V” and add -es

Let’s Practice!

More than one knife?: knives

More than one loaf ? : loaves

More than one elf ?‍♂️ : elves

Please Note!

There are exceptions to this rule:

roof: roof( not rooves)

belief: belief(not believes)

chef: chefs (not cheves)

chief: chiefs (not chieves)
