1.Regular Plural Noun Rules for words ending in”O”
If a noun ends with a
Vowel + O
(a,e, I, o, and u are called vowels) ,you need to add –s at the end of the root word.
Let’s practice!
More than one video: videos
More than one kangaroo: kangaroos
More than one rodeo: rodeos
More than one radio: radios

But If a noun ends with a
consonant + O
you need to add –es at the end of the root word.
Let’s practice!
More than one domino: dominoes
More than one potato: potatoes
More than one echo: echoes
Please Note!
There are exceptions to this rule:
Avocado: avocados (not avocadoes)
photo: photos (not photoes)
piano: pianos ( not pianoes)
( we only added –S , even if the root word ends in a consonant + O)
